As the days grow longer, cherry blossoms begin to bloom, and fresh buds sprout from the branches.

Yet, spring doesn’t arrive quietly—

Among the 24 solar terms in the lunar calendar, there is one particularly magical day called “Jingzhe” (Awakening of Insects).

As the temperature rises, the roaring spring thunder awakens creatures from their winter slumber,

just like a family member calling out on a lazy morning: “Wake up, it’s time to eat!”

Many of you were probably startled by the thunder and lightning a few nights ago,

and some areas in Taipei even saw hail!

But don’t worry—

that was just spring announcing its arrival: “I’m here! Time to wake up and feast!”

So, let’s welcome the new season with a fresh calendar wallpaper!

Dust off your picnic basket and tablecloth,
